When a ViiFire Unit is face fixed around the reveal, consideration has to be given to the Overall Unit Size being greater than the Clear Opening Size required. This is to the effect of 170mm in width and 190mm in height.
If Smoke Seals are required, then the Overall Unit Width is 230mm larger than the Clear Opening Width to incorporate the width of the seals. This is an increase of 60mm from a standard unit.
When the ViiFire Unit is fitted within the reveal, consideration has to be given that the Overall Unit Size becomes the Clear Opening Size. Therefore the resultant Clear Opening Size arrived at after installation is reduced by 180mm in width and 160mm in height.
If Smoke Seals are required, then the resultant Clear Opening Width is 240mm smaller than the original Clear Opening Width to incorporate the width of the seals. This is an reduction of 60mm from a standard unit.
